After tweeting to Tim Schafer that he would be willing to fund Psychonauts 2, the internet exploded. (If you don’t consider that love enough for the game then I honestly don’t know what to tell you. ) Many fans were in a daze as to the possibility of a beloved cult classic getting a sequel. Finally though, Notch stepped out today and told us what he knows.
Getting to know the Gamer is a interview series where I ask you guys, the gamers, a bunch of questions pertaining to the industry. We saw an interview with Tim Schafer from Digital Spy stating that he had pitched the idea of Psychonauts 2 to a few publishers, but no one seemed enthralled by the thought. On the subject matter though he didn’t seem to want to completely drop the idea of a sequel.
