IRL is a weekly ordeal about everything happening in the life of the Overpowered Princess.

My life this week has consisted of two things. Sadly, one of these things was more than the other. For some reason my teachers are thinking it’s halfway through the semester or something crazy. I was able to combine what I’ve learned from L.A. Noire into some of my tests; doubt the answer, prove that the answer is a lie, or accept it as the truth and correct answer.

Speaking of the good ol’ L.A. Noire I’m on my first case as a Vice! I’ve really just trying to get the story done, since I am renting the game I want to get it back so the next game from Gamemine will be sent in (which crossing my fingers here will be The Darkness). I do think later on I will be purchasing the game when The Complete Edition goes down in price just a tad more. It’s been a relaxing game to just sit down and work on a case during my lunch breaks or right before bed. Granted the more I play the more I want to like Phelps, but the more I dislike him. I have yet to come to terms with how I feel about his character, hopefully I’ll have an idea by the end of the game.

The faces though, I feel like watching Lie to Me has ultimately prepared me for this game, I’m just waiting to see how else they will push this technology, or if they fear the uncanny valley too much. There’s an interesting article on HowStuffWorks on Motion Technology and even touches on L.A. Noire since it was the first media to use MotionScan technology.

Generally, when games interest me to a high degree I end up digging around and learning a thing or two.

I recently went back to writing and trying to be active in my creative writing group. I am their leader of sorts after all, so I figured it was time to actually put some writing up myself. But, oh my dears it’s hard. Balancing multiple hobbies just means more Chai for me! Hmm…actually with that logic bring out ALL THE HOBBIES!

Speaking of hobbies!

I made a derpy bear trying to prove to my mom that I could sew. Funny story, I accidentally gave him a penis. I mean I was trying to give him a tail and didn’t realize I was sewing on the front. Needless to say, it’s tucked away now!

My birthday is also on Monday, and while I’m not getting any games or fun stuff like that. I am getting these beautiful tubes of watercolor and there’s a festival and much planned festivities for tomorrow. Excited.

Anyways, one slightly Team Op announcement (which you all should register and post on since it’s the epitome of all things wonderful and fun) is looking for a member who is willing to edit podcasts!  Of course you’re welcomed to join in and have fun with us all, I just simple having no luck with audacity. Bluntly, I’m doin’ it wrong. If you’d like to help out with the OPPOD send an email over to brianna@opprincess.com with some information about who you are and your availability for recording and editing. Until I can find someone willing to help there won’t be a lot of OPPODs, which is sad because they’re at least super fun to record.

What’s your favorite Champ in League of Legends?

I honestly wish I could say Teemo, since I have the Easter Teemo and it’s beyond adorable, but I do nothing but die and lay eggs with him. Annie on the other hand is my kind of champ, granted I haven’t been playing league all that much lately due to the fact…THAT GAME WILL EAT YOUR SOUL. I did get to try out Fizz today and he seems rather fun.
