Valve has dropped the price of the beloved mind flexing game to $6.79 in celebration of launching its new DLC. Perpetual Testing, allows players to build and create their own test chamber, and share their creation through the use of Steam Workshop. The Steam Workshop has been a huge success with allowing players to create and deliver their on modification to Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, it’s about time we see it put to use on one of their own games.

So, what are you waiting for?! GET TESTING!

 

Preording bonus content is getting out of hand. In the glory days when you preordered a game you would get some neat collectible, maybe a poster, a plush, or a neat art book. With downloadable content in the picture we started to see special skins and rare items come into the picture. These are wonderful things for those who preorder the game, but we shouldn’t be seeing a price raise for additional content at launch.

Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance is a game I sure many 3DS owners are looking forward to and just look at these shots! They look spectacular! Nomura did an interview in the latest Nintendo Power you can find a transcribed copy of it here. The game is set be released on December 31st 2012, chances are we’ll have way more information come the time of E3.

Today a fitness zombie game app was released onto iOS devices. It’s already #3 on the Health and Fitness Category of top paid apps, priced at $7.99. This game by Six to Start is a game that focuses on you running away from zombies. With its immersive storyline and audio you can really get lost while exercising, and when you’re back home (or safe at your base) you’re able to use the items you picked up running to build up your base and keep the survivors alive. Apparently, there are at least 40 runs on the game at this time. So, with over a month of content there’s sure to be a lot of people putting on their running shoes. Continue reading »

 

Not only has Stream been pulling from our wallets, lately amazon has really been pushing out some amazing weekly/daily deals. Right now they’re pulling a farewell to February sale with downloadable PC Games. I’m surprised we’re seeing The Darkness II on the list so soon, but for half-off it may be worth grabbing.

Oooor you could just wait a few years and see if it will drop to the $2 mark.

Amazon is also doing a Buy Two, Get One Free on PS Vita games, so if you got the handheld go fork over some more money.

After tweeting to Tim Schafer that he would be willing to fund Psychonauts 2, the internet exploded. (If you don’t consider that love enough for the game then I honestly don’t know what to tell you. ) Many fans were in a daze as to the possibility of a beloved cult classic getting a sequel. Finally though, Notch stepped out today and told us what he knows.

We saw an interview with Tim Schafer from Digital Spy stating that he had pitched the idea of Psychonauts 2 to a few publishers, but no one seemed enthralled by the thought. On the subject matter though he didn’t seem to want to completely drop the idea of a sequel.
