sushithunder

Sushi boy thunder is one of those fun on-the-go games that lack a real story, but if you did create a story for it would most likely be about a boy who ate too much sushi, got too fat, and decided to become bulimic. Continue reading »

together

After pre-ordering the game right after Comic Con last summer, I’m happy to say I’ve finally had a few days to sit down with this title. I avoided the beta testing since I don’t really like playing a character only to have them deleted in a few weeks. It’s hard for me to get through games as it is, so if I have to replay things that I may not have enjoy the first time it’s just a lot worse.

Level 1 through 10 probably took me about 2 days of decent gaming. Keep in mind I’m a ‘slow’ MMO player, meaning I like looking around/exploring a bit. Found a few neat things by doing that too. I also didn’t skip a lot of quests or movie sequences. I don’t doubt that I skipped a couple quests, but it seemed like I did the majority of them on Tython. So, guesstimating the average player is like me to a certain degree it would take about a little less than two days. Continue reading »

skyrule

As we head inch closer to the end of the year the question of GOTY (Game of the Year) is on every gamers’ mind. I’d feel a bit overwhelmed to just sit down and pick 1 game! Can you image the pressure on anyone who has to do that? We’ve seen so many titles this year, Portal 2, Skyrim, Skyward Sword, Assassin’s Creed, and a sonic game that didn’t get smashed by reviewers right away. I have a feeling if now you were to ask the gaming community what they think GOTY is most would turn towards either Skyrim or Skyward Sword, both games are currently at over 95 on Metacritic. I’d like to say it’s nice sharing interests with someone you love. That gaming is the perfect way to strengthen your bond with another. While it is convenient in the first year of your relationship, it will quickly grow tiresome and old. You may realize that you have completely opposite taste in games, or worse maybe he’s a console halo fanatic, lord help us then. Continue reading »

Overpowered Princess is now hosting its own Minecraft server. It’s tiny, as of now we can only host a total of 6 players at a time. Think of this an experimental run. If the server proves popular we may up the amount we allow on. If you would like to play send me an email Sug4rsh0ts@gmail.com or Ask me via Tumblr. Please include a little about yourself (note: I’m not looking to only let in spectacular builders) and your minecraft name. I’ll send you a reply when you’ve been accepted.

Also note that I reserve the right to kick people off if the server limited is reached, so I or personal friends can play. I hope not to have to do this, and I wouldn’t do it without warning <3

Also, Also we have a new site in the works for the server minecraft.opprincess.com . It’s nothing but an opening theme right now, but when the servers been up for a bit longer they’ll be tons of great stuff. If your interested in joining the server and posting on the Server’s blog included it in the email.

sonic-colors-1

I’ve been in love with that little hedgehog since I played his games on my GameGear. The little blue guy provided me hours of entertainment, and when I moved on to my Gamecube he was brought alive. My first 3D sonic game was Sonic Adventure Battle 2, if you noticed my backlog and actually went through each of the games I have to play you would have noticed that, that title is nowhere to be found. Meaning, the game was a game I got around to beating, more than one time through. If you haven’t got around to playing it I really don’t know why, especially if you’ve given any of the newer Sonic games a try. Being blunt, they provided you with a few hours of you wishing you had a game where you could just run sonic into a  wall over and over. Continue reading »

Onlive

If you’ve been to any gaming blog in the past year chances are you’ve ran across the name Onlive. If you’ve read any of those articles the brief summary has always been, “This is the future.” Well, if your one of the ones who don’t visit gaming blogs often, or maybe you didn’t open that article let me tell you about Onlive in a nutshell. Basically they’re offering a service where you can stream games straight to your PC, Mac, or Television set. There’s no special device needed, unless you stream to you TV, and there’s also no download required. With no download required you’ll be able to pick your game and play it almost instantaneously. Right now they offer a monthly plan that covers about 60+ games for $10 a month. It is a pretty good deal for that quantity, I don’t feel ready to subscribe myself, but that’s due to other games on my plate. I figure if you can find at least 4-5 games you want to play, as long as you’re not taking a month to beat each game, it would be a worth while investment.

youngjustice

As each generation moves on pass adolescence, they each like to believe that they were the ones who watched the very best Saturday morning cartoons. Honestly though, there’s nothing like the stuff that was being made when I reach the age of the great remote. Not wanting to stir any arguments here, but really a lot of the stuff I see one just makes me want to take a gun to each and every brain cell I have. I can’t even find peace in the fact that maybe I’ve outgrown it because I still like cartoons, now I just have to go on a quality hunt.
