Devastation was a blast, I think now I’m well prepared for any convention/tournament that comes my way. Next year, I might just put that press pass down for a bit and get into some of the games. You know what that means, don’t cha? I’m just going to have to get myself a copy of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, I’ve been wanting some X-Men lately anyway being that I’ve been avoiding Destiny for the awful reviews its getting. Then next time I go to California, maybe, I’ll kick my cousins ass. Of course here we’re going on the assumption that he doesn’t practice the game at all between now and then, and that I only play that one game.
Brawl was another game up to play there, but it really wasn’t what I was expecting. Seem to me that it was the default game for a lot of people who were there just to have fun, and not really compete. Not that that’s a bad thing, but it was probably tricky for the event planners to figuring out what rules to use. At Devastation nothing was banned, except MetaKnight’s Infinite Cape Glitch. I watch what unfolded for a bit and in the end it turned out to be one MetaKnight or a Snake beating everyone down.
I also realized how loud headsets make you talk, or maybe it was just the Halo players…
